My client has expenses qualifying for a provincial credit. Why is DT Max not reporting the right amount from form T1229 to line 224 of the T1 jacket and line 6717 of form T2038?

This occurs when there are expenses qualifying for a provincial credit from a T101 or T5013 T-slip entered in the keyword Prov-Res-Exp.

As a workaround, use the keyword Override and select Federal line 224 to enter the calculated amount from section III of form T1229 on line 224 of the T1 jacket.

If there is an ITC claim on line 6717 of the T2038, override this line (keyword Override, option T2038(IND) line 6717 - Code 5) with the calculated amount from section IV of form T1229.
